A Day at Work – Textbook

The Pico House Hotel in 1934 was one of the first classy hotels in Los Angeles. It had plush suites with thick carpets and velvet curtains, overlooking La Placita in downtown Los Angeles. In its day, it accommodated the wealthy and political leaders visiting Los Angeles.
